Pasco County Access Road Construction Project

This access road project in Pasco County, FL involved access road construction over a 2,800 foot sandy road riddled with steep hills and encroached upon by trees. In the first phase of the project, all trees were trimmed to the necessary height and width so as to provide complete access for transport, cargo, and road construction equipment. The second phase involved bulldozing the crest of the hills down to allow access for the low boy trailer, while the third phase entailed bringing in over 600 yards of base material to cap the sandy road for support of the heavy load of the tractor trailer and equipment cabinet. At the end of the access road on the tower side, a base material pad was also installed that a crane could sit on for lifting the equipment cabinet into place.
